Welcome to our blog! I feel super cool to have a blog but must admit that I don't know much about all of this stuff so you will all have to have patience with me!!
Michael and I found out we were pregnant on my 30
th birthday, April 30
th...I could not have asked for anything more
wonderful!! Finding out I was pregnant was the most exciting moment of my life. We had waited, hoped and prayed for that moment for along time!
I absolutely loved being pregnant and was lucky to have not suffered from morning sickness. The smell of coffee and bacon, however, would make me run for the hills! Everything was great up until our doctor's appointment on December 12. I felt fine but my blood pressure was way too high! My doctor immediately sent us on over to the hospital to have a baby! Talk about total shock!!! Michael and I thought we had another month before our little guy joined the world!! And so this is where our journey into parenthood begins.................
Henry Michael Nix arrived at 10:59 pm on December 12, 2008. He weighed five pounds and four ounces and was 18 inches long. For those of you who know me well, you will understand why I'm still amazed that I had a baby one month early....I am LATE everywhere I go!! And I certainly never thought my 6''5" husband and I and would have a tiny baby! We do know for sure though that God answered our prayers by blessing us with a healthy, precious baby boy.
After all the calls, emails and texts had been sent our friends and families began arriving to share in our waiting!
